§ Pharmacy partner · we are looking
A pharmacy partner, one queue, one counter.
We are looking for a pharmacy partner. Ìwẹrẹ Care is in pilot at Jakpa Health Centre (2 beds) and Ugbege Health Centre (5 beds) in Warri North, run by INC-USA with The Roli Mabo Foundation. We do not have a pharmacy partner yet. Below is an illustration, with sample data, of how prescriptions from volunteer physicians could reach patients through a partner pharmacy.

§ 05 · Controlled substances
Locked cabinet, auditable log, as planned.
Access · pharmacist and program team only (planned) Must follow NDLEA rules
§ Our plan · secured access
Controlled medicines would sit behind a separate gate.
We plan that tramadol, morphine, diazepam and other controlled medicines would be kept in a sealed cabinet with a dedicated log. Each dispense would be co-signed by the partner pharmacist and the prescribing physician, and the log would be reviewed regularly by INC-USA. The partner pharmacy would follow NDLEA rules.
The pill arrives on a motorcycle, warm from the counter.
This is what we hope a partner pharmacy will make possible: a prescription from a volunteer physician abroad reaching an older patient near Jakpa or Ugbege by morning. The rider knows the house, the pharmacist knows the medicine, and the family abroad knows it was delivered.
