Our goal: $50
covers one Ìwẹrẹ Care
visit, start to finish.
Ìwẹrẹ Care is INC-USA’s health program, run with The Roli Mabo Foundation and in pilot since 2025 at the Jakpa Health Centre (2 beds) and the Ugbege Health Centre (5 beds) in Warri North, Delta State. Our goal is that $50 covers one visit: vitals at the health centre, a consult with a volunteer diaspora physician, and a follow-up.
From your gift to a patient’s consult.
during the pilot
You give
Our goal is that $50 covers one Ìwẹrẹ Care visit for a patient at one of our pilot health centres, Jakpa or Ugbege in Warri North.
A patient is seen
The model we are building: staff at the health centre prepare the patient, and a volunteer diaspora physician joins the consult.
The consult
Vitals taken on site, a conversation with the physician, and interpretation in Itsekiri when needed.
Prescription and follow-up
A prescription where needed, and a follow-up from the health centre. We will report to donors on how funds were used.
The people we hope to reach.
We will share those only with permission.
Elders with high blood pressure
Regular blood pressure checks close to home, so an elder does not have to make a long trip to town for every review.
Adults who have never been screened
A first consult that can catch conditions such as diabetes early, before complications set in.
Mothers and young children
A trained person to talk to when a child is unwell, and a clear answer about whether to travel to a hospital.
